There is hope for impeachment in the New Year. Representative John Conyers has submitted three new bills. H.Res.635 calls for a Select Committee to investigate Bush crimes and decide whether there is sufficient evidence for Impeachment. H.Res.636 and 637 call for Censuring Bush and Cheney.
It is possible that these bills will just sit in the House Rules Committee for the whole year of 2006. But if we pressure the committee members then we may be able to move them to the floor for a vote.
